Online Therapist for UK & International Clients
Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy, EMDR & Pain Reprocessing Therapy
You don’t need to be in the same city as your therapist for therapy to be effective.
You do need someone who understands how stress, trauma, and the nervous system shape your inner world — and how to work with that safely, intelligently, and with care.
I offer online psychotherapy for clients across the UK and internationally, with a particular focus on trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). My work is relational, grounded, and designed for people who function well on the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected underneath.
I have a BA in Psychology, an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy, I am a full clinical member of the UKCP as well as a full member of EMDRIA and EMDR UK.

Online Therapy That Fits the Reality of Your Life
Much of my work is with professionals, creatives, and internationally mobile clients who are used to functioning at a high level, but privately feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Online therapy allows us to work together consistently, without geography getting in the way. Sessions take place via secure video, and can be accessed from wherever you are — whether that’s home, a hotel room, or a different country altogether.
For many people, working online actually makes therapy feel more contained and grounded. You’re in your own space, without the pressure of commuting or transitioning straight back into the world after a session.
How I Work as an Online Therapist
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and nervous-system aware. That means we don’t just talk about what’s happening — we pay attention to how your body responds, how your system has learned to protect you, and what it needs in order to feel safer and more regulated.
I work with people experiencing:
chronic stress and anxiety
burnout and emotional exhaustion
trauma and complex trauma
relationship and attachment difficulties
chronic pain and medically unexplained symptoms
a persistent sense of being “fine” but not okay
Therapy with me isn’t about pushing you to relive the past or “fix” yourself. It’s about understanding the adaptations that helped you survive — and gently helping your system learn that it doesn’t have to stay in survival mode anymore.
Types of Therapy I Offer
Online Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is your classic talk therapy, but don’t worry, you won’t be laying on a couch while I silently take notes. Our sessions are dynamic - I use my own felt sense, intuition and feelings to help gain an understanding of what may be going on for you. I offer psychotherapy online and in Brighton.
Online EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that uses eye movement to activate both hemispheres of the brain to help re-process trauma, difficult memories, and more. EMDR can be done in conjunction with psychotherapy or as specialized sessions. I offer EMDR online and EMDR in Brighton. More about EMDR can be found here.
Online Pain Reprocessing
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a way of working with chronic pain that combines neuroscience, mindfulness, and somatic tracking to help your brain reprocess the neural pathways that lead to pain. PRT can be done in conjunction with psychotherapy or as a standalone method. I offer pain reprocessing therapy online and in Brighton. More about PRT can be found here.
Who I Tend to Work With:
Many of the people who find their way to me are thoughtful, capable, and used to managing a lot. They may have tried therapy before, or they may be starting for the first time because something no longer feels sustainable.
You don’t need to be in crisis to work with me.
You don’t need a dramatic story to justify asking for support.
You just need a sense that something isn’t settling — and a willingness to explore it with care.
Online Therapy Across the UK and Internationally

London and the wider UK
Europe
North America
and other international locations (depending on jurisdiction)
If you’re unsure whether I can work with you from where you are, you’re welcome to ask.
Online Therapy: Common Questions
Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
In short- yes! Online therapy has been shown to be as effective as in-person therapy for many difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress. For many clients, working from their own space can actually support regulation and integration between sessions. As I client myself, I work with my therapist online because it allows me the flexibility and space I need to work with her consistently and comfortably.
Can I work with a UK-based therapist if I live abroad?
Again, yes! I am insured to work with clients internationally, depending on location and regulatory considerations. If you’re living abroad and looking for a UK-trained therapist, you’re welcome to get in touch to check suitability. I’ve tried to be the therapist I wish I had when I was traveling internationally for work.
Do you work with clients based in London online?
Of course! Many of my clients are based in London and choose to work online due to demanding schedules, travel, or a preference for the privacy and flexibility online therapy offers.
Is EMDR effective when delivered online?
Absolutely! EMDR can be delivered effectively online with the added benefit of not having to leave after your session is done. I offer online EMDR as part of my wider trauma-informed therapy work. I prefer EMDR online as a client, myself.
Can chronic pain be worked with in online therapy?
Oh yeah. I work with chronic pain using Pain Reprocessing Therapy, a mind-body approach that is well suited to online sessions and focuses on retraining the brain’s response to pain. I wouldn’t work with modalities that I couldn’t adapt to online work.

Is working with Anne right for me?
Therapy isn’t always easy. It can be challenging, however it can also be liberating and healing. If you’re ready to take a step towards healing, self exploration, and self-compassion, therapy might be for you.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is curious, compassionate and sometimes a little goofy, I might be a good fit for you. However, I believe your relationship with your therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process. Different people will need different things, and I’m not a perfect match for every person (who could be?!). If, for whatever reason, you decide I’m not a match for you, I’m happy to help you find someone who might be.
