Clinical Supervision
EMDR Consultation for Therapists Around the World
I believe that good consultation starts with a strong relationship between the consultant and the therapist. Using my humanistic background, I aim to facilitate a relationship where you feel safe and confident to bring your successes, your difficulties and the moments of discomfort that all therapists experience.
I have a BA in Psychology, an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy, and a Diploma in Supervision. I am a full clinical member of the UKCP as well as a full member of EMDRIA and EMDR UK/Europe, and am an EMDRIA CIT.
It is important to note that your hours with me would count towards EMDRIA accreditation but not EMDR Europe accreditation.

How I Work
EMDR case consultation is a unique supervisory experience because we aren’t just talking about your experience and your client’s experience, but how this sits within the EMDR protocol. I take an approach of, “EMDR should work for the therapist and the client, the therapist and the client should not work for EMDR” approach, meaning I want to incorporate your unique way of working as well as the relationship you’ve built with your client. The EMDR protocol is a great container for creativity; my goal is to help you work safely, effectively and ethically. Having done EMDR for years both as a therapist and a client, as well as having trained in the UK and in the US, I bring a well-informed and resourced perspective to support your work.
As a therapist I specialize in complex trauma, PTSD, LGBTQIA+ support, working cross culturally, immigration, decolonizing therapy and the mind/body connection. These are things I am particulatly skilled at, but I work with a wide variety of presentations, needs and issues. I also enjoy working with therapists who are looking to increase their business skills as a therapist, learning to take insurance or bring more structure to the way that they work.
